Strictly Come Dancing signs first male celeb to be paired with same-sex dancer
STRICTLY has signed up its first male celeb to be paired with a same-sex pro dancer.
The casting comes after BBC bosses set their sights on an all-male partnership.
Among the stars approached were comedian Alan Carr, 45, and Olympic diving gold medallist Tom Daley, 27.
The celeb is expected to pair with Italian dancer Graziano Di Prima.
It is understood Graziano, 27, engaged to Giada Lina, impressed alongside Johannes Radebe, 34, in an emotional routine in 2019.
Last year’s series saw the first all-female pair as boxer Nicola Adams, 38, teamed up with Katya Jones, 32.
A source said: “The bosses are thrilled that Strictly will be able to show its first all-male couple this year.

“And they have their sights firmly on Graziano. There is no reason why a gay celebrity should automatically be paired with a gay dancer.”
Earlier in the year, Ian ‘H’ Watkins, 45, and pro skater Matt Evers, 45, appeared together on Dancing on Ice.
A BBC spokeswoman last night declined to comment.
