The One Show’s Alex Jones left red-faced as Iain Stirling Love Island interview thrown into chaos by tech blunders
THE ONE Show's Alex Jones was left red-faced in the studio when a technical hitch threw Iain Stirling's Love Island interview into chaos.
Iain, who is the voice of the ITV2 dating show, was just about to reveal some juicy news to fans when the hiccup happened.

Pregnant Alex was joined by her co-host Jermaine Jenas, as they chatted to Iain via video link.
Iain, 33, was on the BBC show to speak about his new ITV2 comedy called Buffering but was also grilled about the goings on at Love Island.
Alex, 44, revealed Jermaine, 38, was "obsessed" with the Islanders on the show as she pressed Iain to spill the dirt.
"Obsessed is a bit strong but I do love Casa Amor," Jermaine corrected his co-presenter.
'Pulled the plug out'
But when Jermaine posed a question from a viewer on who Iain's "favourite Islander" was, the dad-of-one's screen completely froze.
As the entire studio erupted with laughter, Jermaine exclaimed: "Can you believe it? That's got to be a set up."
Alex added: "What a time to happen."
A confused Iain asked: "Did it just cut out then?
"You're back now - you froze," explained Jermaine.
While the comedian joked: "I just said who won it, did you miss that?

Alex quipped: "Yup they just came and pulled the plug out."
Earlier Iain, who this year welcomed his first child - a daughter - with Love Island host Laura Whitmore, said of the show: "For me, it's such a big part of my life."
When Alex congratulated him on becoming a dad, Iain held up his dog for viewers and told them: "He hates it."
