Gogglebox’s Ellie Warner gets double heart tattoo tribute to Amy Winehouse on 10th anniversary of her death

GOGGLEBOX'S Ellie Warner has got a double heart tattoo tribute to Amy Winehouse on the 10th anniversary of her death.

The reality star, 29, proudly showed off the stunning design on her Instagram story.

On Tuesday, Ellie's tattoo artist Lara Thompson Griffiths shared a picture of a love heart tattoo on her social media platform.

She set tongues wagging when she asked her Instagram followers: "#homagetattoo. Which celeb is Miss Ellie remembering with this? Who thinks they know?"

Ellie then took to her own account and re-posted a picture of her new ink she was tagged in with the caption: "@ellie__warner IYKYK", which means 'if you know, you know.'

And although she doesn't explicitly say it's for Amy Winehouse, the design is identical to the singer's - which was on her upper right arm.

As well as that, the timing is another hint it's dedicated to the much-loved star.

TOUCHING TRIBUTE

Ellie's permanent reminder of Amy comes days after the 10th anniversary of death.

The music legend sadly passed away on July 23, 2011.

The highs and lows of the London born star were well documented in the media, but her mum Janis has hoped that the new documentary Reclaiming Amy has told her daughter's real story.

The one-off one hour doc aired last week on BBC Two.

It included never-before-seen personal archive of Amy from the family and treasures from the BBC archives.

The film had a powerful and sensitive account of one of Britain’s best-loved and greatly-missed musical talents, and offered a new female-driven interpretation of her life, her loves and her legacy.

Amy’s life was celebrated across the BBC with a selection of content and musical performances across television, iPlayer and BBC Sounds.

Ellie isn't the only famous face to get a tribute tattoo over the years.

The likes of Katie Price, Kelly Osbourne and Miley Cyrus also have something similar inked on their body.

Ellie shot to fame in the sixth series of the Channel 4 show in 2015. alongside her sister Izzi.

The pair have become firm fan favourites with their great on-screen banter, down to earth personality and hilarious commentary.

When the Leeds lass isn't filming for the TV show, she's works as a hairdresser.

Ellie lives with her boyfriend Nat and their three adorable dogs Mick, Madge and Morris.

Meanwhile sister Izzi works as a mortgage advisor and is mum to five-year-old son Bobby and her baby girl Bessie Rose.
