Emmerdale fans horrified as Liam brutally bans Jacob from Leanna’s funeral

EMMERDALE fans were left horrified as Liam brutally banned Leanna’s ex Jacob from her funeral. 

Liam was quick to blame Jacob for Leanna’s death earlier this month after Meena threw her off a bridge. 

And last night’s episode saw Liam take aim at Jacob again after Leyla involved him in Leanna’s funeral arrangements behind his back. 

Viewers saw Liam heading to confront Leyla over the funeral arrangements after she asked him to take a look at the folder she’d prepared. 

But when Liam found Leyla sitting with Jacob, he demanded to know what was going on.

When Leyla told him they were picking out a plot for Leanna, Liam lost it.

Pointing at the funeral arrangements, he said: “I suppose he’s the reason for this rubbish as well?"

Leyla pointed out he was just trying to help.

“Help what exactly?" Liam asked. "Turn my daughter’s funeral into some tacky spectacle? This is so terrible I don’t know where to begin. Wearing light blue, what does that have to do with anything?”

Jacob pointed out it was her favourite colour, but Liam was having none of it and continued: “Collage boards. Music I’ve never even heard of.

“It’s what kids do these days,” Leyla piped up.

“I am not having Leanna’s funeral turned into some sort of social media event,” Liam said.

“It’s bad enough that you were involved in Leanna’s life. Just so you know, I will be burying her over there. I will not have your influence anywhere near this funeral.”

Viewers were disgusted with Liam for trying to ban Jacob from Leanna’s funeral. 

One tweeted: "I get he is grieving, but as a grown adult, there is a way to speak to people…"

Another added: "Jacob cared about Leeana Liam is so wrong! It's a pity he has to hurt people cos of his own grief"

A third said: "Sorry Liam who is the selfish, self indulgent one here?"

This week, Leanna's killer Meena plays with fire during the funeral when she fiddles with Leanna’s ring on her necklace.

Disaster strikes as the rings falls from the necklace and rolls near Liam’s shoe.
