Who is Love Island boy Dale Mehmet?
LOVE Island fans are delighted that Casa Amor is back – featuring 12 new faces looking for love on the show.
One of the Love Island new boys entering our screens is Dale Mehmet. Here’s what you need to know about the new islander.
Who is Dale Mehmet?
Dale Mehmet is a 24 year-old barber from Glasgow who set up and created his own studio.
The Scot taught himself how to cut and style hair and will be hoping his luscious locks will be a hit with the Love Island girls.
The heavily-tattooed barber also has a bit of Turkish in him thanks to his half Turkish dad.
Dale describes himself as a massive geek, and adds: “I love sci-fi movies, I love gaming, I love watching anime.
“I have a full anime sleeve, that’s how much I like it, I’ve got it tattooed on my body. I really like Japanese culture.
“I always want to see the best for everybody. I’ve got a small group of friends, my family is really tight.”
What will Dale bring to the Villa?
Dale reckons he’s super chilled – and feels like he’ll get on well with everybody in the villa.
He said: ” If I meet someone then that would be amazing. But I take everything as it comes.
“I’d like to meet someone I like and can move forward with, but I’ll just take it as it comes.”
Dale added: “If somebody needs something, I’m always there to give them a hand.”
Does Dale have his eye on anyone from the villa?
New boy Dale is one of the Casa Amor entrants in the 2021 series of Love Island – and this stage always shakes things up.
Dale said: “I like Faye’s attitude and personality, I feel like we would get on.
“I’m not a bad guy who is going to steal somebody’s girl. But if I want something then I’m going to pursue it.
“I would go about it all the right way. Everybody would be well aware of what I was doing.”
