The Chase Celebrity Special fans rage as ITV airs ANOTHER repeat
THE Chase Celebrity Special fans were left fuming after ITV aired ANOTHER repeat.
This evening's instalment of the popular quiz show saw funny woman Susan Calman, retired athlete Perri Shakes-Drayton, broadcaster Dermot Murnaghan and comedian Omid Djalili take on The Governess Anne Hegerty.
The awesome foursome did their best to try and win the hefty cash prize fund.
But only three managed to go home with £12,000 between them to give to their chosen charities.
However eagle-eyed viewers were quick to point out that the episode had definitely been on their screens before.
Many took to Twitter to share their frustration, with one saying: "@ITV #TheChase REPEAT AGAIN."
A second tweeted: "I'm sure this one was on a few weeks ago
#thechase."
A third added: "Another repeat
A fourth chimed in: "@ITV Why are you showing repeats of celebrity #tippingpoint and #TheChase so soon? Both of these episodes aired very recently.
And they are correct as ITVHub states that tonight's episode is from series 10, which aired all the way back in October 2019.
It comes after viewers thought they spotted an iconic American TV star on the game show.
On Thursday's repeat many thought that contestant Ceri resembled Breaking Bad character Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston.
"Nice to see Walter White making an appearance on #thechase," one fan joked.
Another wrote: "This bloke on #TheChase looks a bit like Walter White."
While a third added: "What’s Walter White doing on the chase? #TheChase."
