EASTENDERS fans are in tears after Honey Mitchell opened up about her eating disorder.
The shop assistant - who is played by actress Emma Barton in the BBC soap - has realised Suki Panesar has been starving herself after the death of her son Jags.
Viewers know Suki is responsible, but Honey has no idea and just wants to help Suki.
In tonight’s episode Honey visited Suki and opened up about her own troubles in an effort to get through to her.
In an emotional scene, Honey told her: “I was with a man once who tried to control me and all people saw was how perfect he was, how perfect my life was.
“But inside I was nothing. So I wanted to hurt myself - punish myself - because I made it happen to me and my children. I didn't deserve comfort, I didn't deserve food, so I know, I've been there when your world was turned upside down.
“When you're dropped off a cliff and you're falling and the only thing you can control is to not eat. I nearly lost myself Suki and I won't let that happen to you.
“You have this front, this wall, but I can see you. There's a kind, loving person who's hurting, a woman that's worth fighting for because she is my friend.”
But before Suki let Honey realise she was getting through to her, she kicked her out.
However it was clear Honey had got through to her and Suki was struggling to cope with her guilt.
