Love Island’s Sharon dumped from villa as Danny picks Lucinda and AJ chooses Hugo in recoupling

LOVE Island's Sharon was dumped from the villa after Danny picked Lucinda and AJ chose Hugo in the recoupling.

Tonight's show saw the Islanders around the fire pit, with new bombshell AJ up first to pick.

She chose Hugo, which immediately made it clear to everyone that Sharon would end up leaving.

New boy Danny was up next and he chose Lucinda, and then the rest of the couples stuck together, leaving Sharon solo at the end.

Faye was absolutely devastated to lose her BFF, while Hugo was also distraught, having been in a friendship couple with the 25-year-old.

As she left, Sharon said: "We all took the plunge when we came here, love was never guaranteed but it never will be."

AJ, 28, was first up to make her choice at the recoupling, and said: "He's gorgeous, since coming into the villa he's made me feel so comfortable.

"I want to explore where we could go as a couple and get to know him a bit more. So the boy I would like to couple up with his Hugo."

Danny, 25, was next and said: "She's just stunning, I could see myself having a future with her.

"The girl I'd like to couple up with is Lucinda."

Afterwards, Hugo had a chat with AJ and said: "Why me? I did not see that coming, I thought it was going to be Liam."

AJ replied: "You are the one I feel most comfortable with. You are so gorgeous."
