Love Island fans praise ‘brutal’ twist as Brad and Lucinda are voted least compatible – and face savage decision

LOVE Island fans have praised the show's "brutal" twist after Brad and Lucinda were voted least compatible - and now face a savage decision.

The Islanders were warned that whichever couple came bottom of the vote would have to choose between themselves who gets dumped.

While one half of the couple will get to remain the villa for another shot at finding love, the other will be sent home - meaning that either Lucinda or Brad will be booted out in tomorrow's show.

Viewers couldn't hide their delight at the long-anticipated drama, and flocked to Twitter to share their reaction to the shocking twist.

One fan wrote: "Ok lowkey brutal that either Brad or Lucinda will be sending THEMSELVES home".

Another added: "This is SAVAGE and I love you for it #LoveIsland".

A third shared: "This is the drama we wanted.. Hope Lucinda stays to live out her hot girl summer".

One more tweeted: "That was actually brutal! Finally you did something to shock everyone and left a good twist!"

Lucinda and Brad are one of the few established romantic couples in the villa, and landed in the bottom three alongside Chloe and Toby, and friendship couple Hugo and Sharon.

Another friendship couple, Aaron and Kaz, were voted as safe by the public - as well a new pairing Teddy and Faye.

Lucinda and Brad's shock decision comes just hours after producers treated the pair to their first date in the villa, and they both admitted that they couldn't imagine their head being turned by new arrivals.

Their final choice will air in tomorrow night's Love Island - with either Brad, Lucinda, or both being dumped from the villa.
