DANNY APOLOGISES FOR USING N-WORD ON INSTAGRAM AND INSISTS HE'S NOT A RACIST

LOVE Island's newest bombshell Danny Bibby has apologised after he became embroiled in a race row.

The 25-year-old plumber had  in a historic social media post.

In a statement tonight, he said: "I'd like to take the time to apologise to anyone that may have taken offence to my inappropriate remark. I never meant anything malicious by this comment at all.

"I am not a racist person and it's unacceptable language and ignorant. I meant no offence and feel like I have really learnt from my mistakes and will never use that word again. I am a kind loving person and hopefully you get to see that in the show."

Fans had been asking for Danny to be removed from the villa since spotting the offensive slur in a comment he made on Instagram in 2019.

Earlier today, Danny's dad apologised for his son's n-word post and insisted "he's not racist but this was a mistake".

OUT OF LOVE

KERRY Katona's daughter Lilly McFadden has revealed how she turned down an offer to appear on Love Island this year.

Lilly, 18, admitted she said no to the ITV dating show as it would "be her worst nightmare" to have to be seen loved-up with a stranger on telly.

The daughter TV star Kelly, 40, and singer Brian McFadden, said while she was keen to get into show-business, Love Island wasn't the way forward.

As well as struggling with PDA, Lilly said she would be too embarrassed knowing her Catholic nan Mairead would be watching from home.

She told  Online: "It's not a bit of me - not in a rude way, it's a fun show - but if I was going to make a big TV debut, it would not be with Love Island."

The teen went on to explain that in "no disrespect" to the show, she personally disliked "being romantic" or showing off her body.

SISTER ZONED

LOVE Island viewers were left cringing tonight as Sharon was put in the 'sister zone' by Hugo.

The pair are in a friendship couple having put their fiery row from the previous week behind them.

Taking some time to chat in the garden, Hugo made it clear romance would never blossom between them.

He said: "If I'm completely honest with you I can't see there being anything romantic between you and me because I see you as a little sister in here now, and I think you're amazing and I want you to find someone that's 100 per cent you, and you definitely deserve that.

"I don't see you in that way and I don't think I ever could. As much as friendship couples are great and we have fun, it serves a purpose for the time being, but I don't want it to be my whole experience. I want to share this with someone.

"I don't want this to be your whole experience at all."

WILL FAYE'S HEAD BE TURNED?

Unable to hide her attraction to the newcomer, Faye tells co-star Sharon Gaffka and others that Danny is a "morning treat" as she directs the girls' attentions towards him as he walks through the garden.

She then compliments his physique after revealing to the girls on the day bed that he doesn't even go to the gym, according to him.

Faye's head could be well and truly turned it seems - so should Teddy Soares be warned?

Teddy chose to pair up with Faye in the last recoupling, while he did seem interested in new girl AJ Bunker.

Perhaps both of the Islanders will be moving on to other people despite growing closer, and sharing a smooch after becoming an official pairing.

SAVAGE SWIPE

ALDI took a brutal swipe at Love Island's Lucinda as they joked "we need her on the checkouts - she moves fast."

The bombshell was heartbroken after her and Brad were placed in the bottom two this week and were forced to pick one person to stay.

Brad graciously offered to leave the villa, giving Lucinda the opportunity to continue in Love Island.

But last night Lucinda swiftly moved onto Aaron, who cracked on now Brad was out of the picture.

Aldi's Twitter account said: "We need to get Lucinda on checkouts because she moves FAST"

Fans found the slam hilarious, with one person saying: "imagine lucinda coming out of love island and seeing she got dragged by aldi i love this sm"

'REUNITED'

Despite leaving the Love Island villa, Brad looks happy to return to his Nana in Amble.

He captioned the cute snap: "Well I’m back and reunited with me Nana!"

Previous islander Luke Mabbot commented: "Yesss bro!"

Brad also took to his Instagram stories and said: "I just want to do a quick message to say thanks everyone that showed 'us support on the show.

"It's been an absolute blast and I hope I've made yous all proud."

WHO IS AJ'S IDEAL GUY?

AJ revealed: "I've had the worst luck with men. I feel like this [Love Island] is the one thing I haven't tried.

"I thought why not? Let's give it a go."

the sultry blonde has eyes for Teddy Soares, despite being in a couple with Faye Winter.

Andrea-Jane said: "There is something about Teddy. He's a bit of me. In terms of being adventurous and spontaneous, I think we'd get on really well.

"I'll definitely approach her [Faye] and have a conversation beforehand.

"But I wouldn't hold back. I feel like we all have a right to get to know the guys in there."

The Dunstable stunner has already set ground rules, with Toby a big no-no due to his struggles with committing to girls.

Meanwhile, she will be teaching the fellas some lessons to avoid being "messed about".

WHO IS NEWCOMER ANDREA-JANE 'AJ' BUNKER?

New girl AJ entered the Majorcan villa in the show's third week - and already has her eyes on some of the boys.

AJ is a hair extension technician from Dunstable.

Before going into the Love Island villa, she described herself as "a big adventure and travel lover" with her Instagram filled with snaps of the beauty in exotic locations like Morocco, Philippines and Panama.

And  are set to welcome someone who is "confident" but also "indecisive and impatient".

"I can be a little bit savage because I say it as it is. My girls call me savage all the time.

"But I've got the biggest heart and I'll do anything for my friends and family."

AMOR TO COME?

LOVE Island viewers are convinced Brad McClelland will make a shock return in Casa Amor after spotting a 'clue' in the show's rule book.

Heartbroken by the Northumberland lad's dramatic exit last night, they've scoured the small print and found a smidgen of hope that he'll be back.

The section reads: "The producers of the Programme may in their discretion may reintroduce an Islander seen in earlier stages of the competition who was previously evicted. The Programme producers' decision will be final."

While no evicted Islander has ever reappeared in Casa Amor, some have returned to the main villa.

Mike Thalassitis and Sam Gowland were both put back into the mix in their respective series', and it seems it would be a welcome twist this time round too.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Would be a great twist if brad goes to casa amor. Then lucinda can go there and bring him back! :-)."

IS NEWCOMER AJ USING HUGO?

LOVE Island fans have accused the stunning new bombshell AJ of "using" Hugo after she targeted him in the villa.

The hair extension technician, 28, turned the boys' heads as she entered the villa on Wednesday.

Since then  has turned up the flirting with both Teddy and Hugo.

This is the most attention the fan-favourite PE teacher has received from a woman in the villa, with them enjoying a private chat on the terrace and by the pool.

They even shared a snog during an egg game Faye had invented.

But Love Island viewers are suspicious that AJ could be going after Hugo because he's so popular with fans.

One tweet said: "AJ is giving me very much ‘I only like Hugo because the public do’ vibes idk I’m suspicious."

WHO HAS DANNY GOT HIS EYE ON?

Danny entered the villa at a difficult time for many of the Islanders, following the exit of Brad McClelland.

But it is his former partner that the Wigan plumber is eyeing up.

He said: " is my type - nice eyes and tanned.

"Sharon is nice. I like Kaz's vibe. Kaz is bubbly like me so I think we'd get on like a house on fire."

Yet, he is not coy about how he hopes the night will end if he gets a date with any of the lovely Islander girls, saying his ideal date would include "a couple of drinks, nice cool night, sat on the beach and getting to know someone. And then to the Hideaway!"
