LOVE Island contestants were left terrified as new boy Teddy Soares took charge of the first recoupling where the BOYS got to choose in scenes to be aired tonight.

The 26-year-old newbie has caused quite a stir since arriving in the villa, as the single girls fight for his attention.

It's a battle for survival as one girl is under threat of being dumped from the villa if she fails to impress the financial adviser.

The Manchester lad will have all the power tonight as he decides who he wants to couple up with.

In a preview clip ahead of tonight's episode, the new hunk informs the other Islanders that he's got a text telling them to gather around the fire pit.

The girls look panicked as they receive the news, while the boys debate over who to pick - aware that their decision will result in one girl being dumped from the island.

A worried Hugo Hammond was seen whispering to fellow Islander Aaron Francis: "I don't know who he is going to pick."

Teddy will have his pick of the ladies tonight, leaving one girl vulnerable and dumped.

HEATING UP

Last night the bombshell who "isn't afraid to step on toes", stirs things up as he speed dates FOUR girls.

With a romantic set up on the Hideaway Terrace, Teddy got to know Kaz, Rachel, Sharon and Faye.

Rachel remarked: “Obviously the claws are going to come out, we’re competing for this guy.”

Teddy wasted no time in complimenting Kaz, he said: “I was a bit like, ‘Woah’, when you walked through. I had to settle my nerves a little bit. Take a few deep breaths.”

And Kaz felt the same way, telling the Beach Hut: “I just went steady with Teddy, it was like the Villa gods were listening to me. I better have made a good first impression!”

GETTING FLIRTY

But she's got single Rachel to battle against who turned to sex talk to win over the new boy.

Rachel said: “I’m very modern in my dating. I don’t think a guy should always pay, I don’t expect a guy to pull out my chair…

"I want a guy to be a gentleman, but I don’t want a guy to think I’m one of those girls that fully depends on them to make me happy. I truly believe in life I can give myself anything I want, including an orgasm, if I’m going to go that far.”

Cheeky Teddy replied: “You shouldn’t need to do the orgasm on your own though, surely? It should be a joint effort.”

Rachel added: “Well, I’m waiting on someone to come along and do that for me. Hopefully not for long that won’t be the case. It’s too sexy right now, the energy is too hot. It’s been a while since I’ve felt like this.”

In the Beach Hut Rachel admitted: “I am ready to start s***, because I want that guy.”

After a third date with Sharon, Teddy meets Faye - and played footsie under the table.

He admitted: “I can’t lie, I’ve not done footsie with anyone, or whatever this is... this is the first time, it’s quite cute.”

The new lad spent the following day getting to know the girls in the villa, pulling them for chat.
