Love Island AND Aftersun postponed tonight for Euro 2020 final as England play Italy

LOVE Island and its spin-off show will air late tonight after being pushed back by the Euro 2020 final.

Fans will have to wait a little while longer to get their daily dose of the ITV2 dating show while England take on Italy at Wembley stadium.

The highly anticipated game - which could see our nation become Euro champions for the FIRST time in history - will be available to watch from 7.00pm to 10.35pm on ITV.

This means that it will clash with Love Island, which usually airs on ITV2 at 9.00pm Monday to Sunday.

So to make sure that both footie and reality lovers are happy, Sunday's episode will now start at 10.00pm.

This will then be followed by the show's spinoff Aftersun, hosted by Laura Whitmore, from 11.00pm to 12.05am.

Love Island: Aftersun will give a round up all of the juicy drama that has happened over the past week with Munya Chawa, HRVY and Clara Amfo.

This isn't the first time that the programme has been postponed because of the football.

The same thing happened earlier this week to avoid Love Island clashing with the England vs Denmark game that took place on Wednesday.

ITV's coverage of the huge semi-final began at 6.30pm and wiped out the schedule for the following four hours.

A repeat of Family Guy was shown in the show's normal slot of 9.00pm as the huge Euro 2020 football showdown took place on the main ITV channel.

Wednesday night's explosive trip to the villa aired an hour later from 10pm until 11.05pm on ITV2.

England's victory secured them a place in the major tournament final for the first time since the historic World Cup win of 1966.
