Last night’s episode saw Sharon, 25, chatting to fellow Islander Toby Aromolaran as she tried to explain why she thought she was the best match for 24-year-old Aaron.
She said: “We have the same morals, same level of intelligence and I just don’t think they have it.”
Jumping on to Twitter, fans of the show were quick to react to her words.
One wrote: “Sharon is such a jealous girl, she doesn’t even know the girls and she’s out here saying they aren’t intelligent??? #LoveIsland”.
“Sharon is way too jealous saying she don’t see Aaron with Lucinda,” added another.
One viewer observed: “For someone who does care Sharon sure is jealous! Didn’t introduce herself to Lucinda once and she was so adamant that Aaron wasn’t going anywhere.
“Her convo with Toby made me cringe. Not to mention Sharon repeated ‘I don’t give a s*t’ 100 times but clearly she does. #LoveIsland”.
As fans debated the truth behind Sharon’s words, it follows on from her being dumped by Aaron earlier on in the ITV2 show.
Aaron said: “Personally, I do prefer someone a lot more chilled. We get on really well, that’s pretty clear.
“But I do feel like there were a few red flags about. Can I see this working long-term? I’m not really sure.”
After finding out Aaron was ending their relationship, Sharon told him he had been “a bit unfair to turn around and say straight away ‘it’s done'”.

After going on dates with Millie and Lucinda, he pulled Sharon aside for a conversation about their relationship.
The luxury events host had criticised Gaffka for her “fiery” response to a row with Hugo Hammond during Tuesday’s episode of the dating show.
During Wednesday’s programme, he said: “I wanted to chat to you yesterday. After yesterday, I didn’t really like the way you reacted to everything.”
Sharon responded: “From my perspective, you weren’t in the conversation. So when I was talking to him I wasn’t yelling.”
