It's a fresh blow for Chloe's family who have already been forced to suffer death threats sent to the star's social media.

Now the star, who has 100,000 Instagram followers, is being abused over her appearance - despite being a favourite with the boys in the villa.

One troll said: "This is what u call catfish."

Another added: "I’m getting catfish vibes because these pictures and my TV aren’t correlating. Who is this ?"

Someone else claimed: "Being a catfish is REAL."

Another said: "Anyone seen Chloe's Instagram - that’s the definition of a catfish."

'Catfishing' is when someone creates fake profiles on social media sites to trick people into thinking they are somebody else.

The term was first used in the 2010 documentary 'Catfish' - in which Nev Schulman discovered the gorgeous woman he fell in love with online was a middle-aged, married mum.

While Chloe is a real person, trolls argued her looks are different on her social media to how she's seen on TV.

She upset fans when she unwittingly booted off Love Island favourite Shannon Singh after only 48 hours.

Cruel fans hit out after late arrival Chloe picked Aaron Francis to couple up with, causing his partner Shannon to be dumped from the villa.

Suddenly she received a barrage of death threats telling her to "die" -with her family begging fans to "be kind".

In an emotional statement the family shared: "Morning everyone, Chloe's family & friends here.

"We hate to introduce ourselves under such vile circumstances but we've had enough after just 3 episodes.

"We all have thick skin but the amount of trolling Chloe has been receiving is absolutely disgusting. This morning we woke up to yet another DM (see next story) encouraging Chloe to kill herself - there have been HUNDREDS.

"Have the deaths of Sophie, Mike, and Caroline taught us nothing?

You're Not Alone

EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide.

It doesn't discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society - from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.

It's the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.

And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.

Yet it's rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.

That is why The Sun launched the You're Not Alone campaign.

The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.

Let's all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others... You're Not Alone.

If you, or anyone you know, needs help dealing with mental health problems, the following organisations provide support:

  • CALM, , 0800 585 858
  • Heads Together,
  • Mind, , 0300 123 3393
  • Papyrus,, 0800 068 41 41

"Not only that, but people are flooding her inbox threatening to kill themselves. People... this is a GAME show, there is a cash prize!

"We understand the frustration surrounding @shannonsinghh's eviction we feel it too! She didn't deserve to leave so early but Chloe does not deserve to DIE because Shannon had to leave the villa! She will have had no idea of the repercussions of her decisions prior to making it.

"We are not naive. We know that this post won't put an end to trolling. All the advice we get is to 'ignore it' and 'block the trolls' sometimes it's not that easy. Our hope is that this just reminds some of you #BeKind" x."
