CHEEKY CHARLIE

EastEnders star Charlie Brooks reveals she wants to film more sex scenes

CHARLIE BROOKS might be Walford-bound again – but first she’s off to Australia for a sexy new drama.

The actress, who confirmed her return as EastEnders superbitch Janine Butcher last month, fronts Lie With Me, a new thriller for Channel 5 based Down Under.

The series marks Charlie’s return to TV in a major role and will thrill fans ahead of her EastEnders comeback.

And she says fans are in for a treat as the series is a 50 Shades of Grey-style sexathon.

It follows Charlie’s alter ego Anna, who is clueless that her hunky husband (Brett Tucker) is having an affair with their nanny (Phoebe Roberts) involving bondage-filled sex sessions.

Charlie laughed: “All the sexy stuff came from Phoebe and Brett. I couldn’t believe how graphic it gets between those two.”

But viewers hoping to see Charlie in her undies are going to be disappointed.

She added: “I’d have liked a bit more action on screen! But I don’t get that sexy on this show. I was relieved it wasn’t me, I mean, no-one needs to see that!”

It’s been seven years since she last set foot in Walford and 40-year-old Charlie admits it was hard getting work after playing such an iconic role.

“There’s definitely type-casting that happens, for sure,” she said. "I haven’t done many roles, so clearly it’s hard to be seen as any character other than Janine.”

Hot? We're too steamy

TOO Hot To Handle favourites Cam Holmes and Emily Miller are still together seven months after filming the dating show – and are enjoying guilt-free sex.

In the couple’s first interview since the Netflix hit aired, the pair say they moved in together in February and have been “inseparable” ever since.
Emily said: “At the beginning of February he came and moved in with me. We’ve been inseparable.

“I appreciate sex a lot more since filming the show. I’ve always been a strong believer that women should love sex. I’ve always been like that and I don’t think I’ll ever change.”

Cam added: “We haven’t spent much time away from each other at all. Me and Em have been very much ourselves on that show. We both love each other to bits and she is my best friend.”

The show sees horny singletons having to restrain themselves from kissing and having sex under the watchful eye of a love guru robot named Lana. Cam said: “Once we left it was so nice to actually be affectionate towards each other without having to wait for a robot’s approval.”

But it seems like the loved-up pair are grateful for Lana’s prudish presence – if they have a baby girl together in the future, they will name her after the robot that brought them together.

Emily said: “We definitely do want marriage and kids. If we have a girl we’re going to call her Lana, obviously.”

The pair, who now call themselves ‘Camily’, are also open to doing more reality TV shows and dream of creating cake masterpieces together.

Cam revealed: “We both want to go on Bake Off. We might have to pitch to Channel 4 for a new edition of a couple’s Bake Off.”

  • The complete second season of Too Hot To Handle is available to watch now on Netflix.

Speaking in this week’s Radio Times, Bruno said: “They have Wembley full, Wimbledon – why can’t you have Drury Lane full?

“If you don’t want to be vaccinated, fine, but you can’t go to the theatre and you can’t fly. Don’t stop anyone else.”
