Love Island’s Kaz Kamwi will be the first 2021 islander to have sex, say Amber Gill & Kem Cetinay
LOVE Island champions Amber Gill and Kem Cetinay have tipped Kaz Kamwi as the first islander to get steamy and kick off a sizzling summer of sex.
Like millions of Brits across the country, the former villa residents have been glued to their screens since the ITV2 series returned on Monday.

And despite being picked last during the show’s launch, it’s fashion blogger Kaz they’ve got their eye on as the friskiest female. Amber, who won the show in 2019, reckon fans are gagging to see some x-rated action in the villa after a lacklustre start from the new singletons.
She told The Sun: “We love it when they have sex! I’m nosey, people want to see the full thing! You’re on an entertainment show about dating, it goes hand in hand! Everybody is in their business, so we naturally want to know if it happens.
“I like Toby and Kaz's dynamic so far. Kaz will be the first to have sex, definitely. She said she'd love someone to rail her or something like that! The girls are all so hot, though, so beautiful. I think the girls are very sure of themselves and not taking any sh*t, the boys don’t know what to do with them!”
Amber, 23, added: “It’s not that deep, having sex on the show. In my series there were a lot of people that did have sex and it was fine. Once you come out, it's not really spoken about, especially if they stay in that couple then it's forgotten about.”
And 2017 champ Kem, 25, admitted that once the first couple get down and dirty they’ll spark a sex explosion in the villa, adding: “As long as people do things in an authentic way like Amber said, people don't care. I think it will be quite raunchy, I've got a feeling. It ain't started raunchy, but I think it will get there soon! We love it though, don't we?!”
But the duo have issued a word of warning to the new batch of wannabes who think they might be able to fake it to the final. Kem said: “The viewers can spot a fake, 100%.
'It’s not about who has the best game plan'
“Look at Amber's series. She won and she was in a couple for the least amount of time. That just purely comes down to people loving her for being authentic and natural.
“That isn't about who's been coupled up the longest, it’s not about who has the best game plan. If anything, if you go in there with a game plan you definitely won’t win.”
With nearly three million Instagram followers Amber is one of the most popular stars of the show and has faced calls this week for her to return to the villa to spice up the new series. But the Geordie babe has bigger plans.
She would love ITV bosses to sign up some of the show’s iconic stars, like Megan Barton Hanson, Theo Campbell, Maura Higgins and Anna Vakili to feature in an all stars series. And she'd be the first to sign up.
“I’d love an All Stars series!” she laughed. “I don't know how it would work but I just think it would be amazing to see all of those major personalities from each season together. It would just be wild. Obviously we all know each other, we all go to events. So I'd love to do something like that and see how it would work.”
Could Kem be tempted into a second crack at a Love Island title? “F**k that!” he exclaimed.
“No, my dating game's out of the window now, I'll be honest. First time I got lucky, the second time it ain't going to go as well. I'm happy just to keep the crown I've got. I'm not going to do it again, honestly I'm not.”
While the show’s diehard fans might be gutted to hear that Kem and Amber won’t feature in an all stars series together, they can get their fix thanks to a new series that starts on Monday.
The pair are fronting a web show called The Full Treatment, which sees them welcome a host of famous faces into their makeshift salon to discuss mental health issues and how they cope when life gets tough. Fans will see Kem chatting with I’m A Celeb star and Radio 1 DJ Jordan North, Strictly’s Jamie Laing and Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts.
Meanwhile, Amber catches up with fellow Love Islander Montana Brown, singer Chelcee Grimes and Apocalypse Wow host Donna Preston. It couldn’t be a more personal journey for Kem, who has bravely discussed his ten year battle with anxiety and depression.
The former hairstylist believes it’s a myth that the rich and famous don’t suffer with their mental health. “Funnily enough, during the show I had a bit of a panic attack,” admitted Kem. “I was just anxious, I had to give myself five minutes to calm myself down.
“We’re just normal people. If it was the case that not doing the job I do now meant all my worries were gone, then I’d drop it all, but it doesn’t work like that.”
'Really work on after coming out of the villa'
Amber added: “The biggest misconception of having any kind of fame is that all of a sudden you just don't suffer from mental health anymore, you have no issues, everything's just fine and dandy all the time. Which it's not.
“People look at me and think because I appear confident that I don’t have any problems, but I have my own anxieties to overcome. Over the course of this show people will see from the conversations that I have with some of the guests that everybody has their own personal struggles and that it's okay to talk about them.
“We really hope that this show will help people start to open up and have those conversations because it really is good to talk.” The six part series will showcase some of the coping mechanisms the stars use to help them when they’re struggling.
For Kem, it’s ice water baths, something his life coach introduced him to and he believes it’s turned his life around. He said: “The way I look at it is, you go to the gym to better your body, you eat healthy food to make yourself feel good.
“A life coach just keeps your mind right. He’s there for anything I need, whether it's problems with business, problems in my life, he just helps me get my mind in a better place, to challenge my thoughts.
“Do you know what, he's changed my life genuinely. It's been the best I've ever done. He makes me start my day with an ice bath. I’m sure there’s something scientific to it but it just clears your mind. I do it every day without fail.”
Having a clear mind is vital when dealing with life in the spotlight, something Amber knows all too well having emerged from the villa with over a million more social media followers than she had when she went in.
But she admits that without proper care, the attention can be overwhelming and it’s something she still struggles with. “For me it was the amount of opinions I was now open to, or judgements,” she explained.
“It's fine when I was in Newcastle and I've got a couple of people that don't agree with what I think or they don't like us or whatever. But suddenly you've got hundreds of people that are like, "You're doing the wrong thing. You said the wrong thing. You're not nice."
“It was hard to navigate around that and that, for me, the biggest thing that I had to fight was my anxiety and really work after coming out of the villa."

So how does she cope?
“Laughing therapy!” she smiled. “You basically start off fake laughing but you just start laughing for real.
