Love Island bombshell Liam Reardon’s secret connection to former contestant revealed

LOVE Island newbie Liam Reardon is pals with another lad who has experienced life in the villa.

The Welsh hunk and Joshua Ritchie, who finished third in 2015, have known each other for years.

They even spent Liam's 21st birthday together in Ibiza - which the island bombshell says is his "favourite place".

He shared a picture on Instagram of them jet-skiing for the special occasion and wrote: "Wicked day out on the jet skis yesterday✌🏽. Missing everyone at home but blessed to be spending my birthday in good company and in my favourite place. Still replying to messages but Thankyou everyone, feeling the love🖤."

Josh, 27, commented: "What a day that was bro my body is still f***ing killing me hhaha."

As well as Love Island Josh has appeared in two series of Ex on the Beach.

He was in a relationship with Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby for over a year before they broke up in November 2019.

Meanwhile fans can't believe Liam is only 21 - accusing him of looking more like 30.

He even shocked his date Faye Winters with his age - but the star's sister Niamh has cleared up the confusion on Instagram.

She posted a string of pictures on Liam's 16th birthday back in 2015 - meaning he really is 21.

The new Islander was born in the year 2000 - but many fans weren't having it, with one writing: "Idk what Liam’s mum put in his milk but that boy is not 21."

Another joked: "Liam is 21???? He counting his age in dog years???"

A third tweeted: ";Sorry I know the camera adds ten pounds but does it also add ten years? Liam is HARDLY 21!"

Faye, who is 26, made no secret of her shock at her age looking disappointed when he announced it on their date.

However, if she's willing to wait around he is going to turn 22 next month.

The news doesn't appear to have put her off too much in any case - with Faye saying that she wanted to marry the hunky new arrival.

She gushed to the girls after their date: "He is so fit. It was a good date. The chat was there. He’s so tall, he is so handsome.

Before going into the villa bricklayer Liam revealed the former Love Island contestant Joanna Chimonides was one of his celebrity crushes.

However, his attempts to chat her up didn't get him anywhere.

He explained: "I did message her before. She didn’t answer. She is gorgeous, my type of girl."
