Jake Cornish gives Love Island viewers ‘red flags’ after revealing he ‘likes making Liberty nervous’

LOVE Island fans have spotted "red flags" from Jake Cornish after he revealed that he "likes to make Liberty nervous".

The hunky builder, 24, enjoyed some one-on-one time with the blonde beauty, 21, in the latest instalment of the ITV2 reality show.

During a conversation on the daybed, Liberty revealed that he makes her nervous, which made Jake chuffed and immediately raised a few "red flags"; for viewers.

Their romance was heated up, with the pair so comfortable together he even let out a fart after their romantic kiss.

During an earlier chat on the daybeds, Liberty revealed to Jake that he gives her "butterflies".

The waitress admitted: "I'm actually a confident girl, but like you made me a bit nervous."

Jake was thrilled to hear that he made her nervous and exclaimed: "Did I, I made you nervous? I love that, that's a compliment that."

Liberty replied: "I get butterflies... why am I giving all my game away?"

But not all viewers were convinced by Jake's charms and speculated that he may be stringing Liberty along.

One viewer commented: "Calling it now Jake isn’t into Liberty, she’s just making it waaay too easy."

Another posted: "Does anyone see a lot of red flags with Jake? He seems the 'nice guy' who says he's interested in her and doing the part but just feeling like he'll hurt my girl Liberty.

"She deserves better! I better see either character growth from Jake or someone better for Lib."

A third shared: "Jake is going to hurt Lib the minute someone else comes in. I see red flags, babes, run."

A fourth added: "Jake busy serving red flags already!!!! What more are you looking for???"

However, it could all be thrown into chaos - with Jake telling a stunned Hugo that Liberty might not be what he's looking for after all and said he didn't want to "fake" it.

The tattooed contestant praised Liberty's personality but admitted that he couldn't quite feel a strong attraction.

Fellow contestant Hugo was left baffled, speaking in the Beach Hut, he said: "I don't know what more he's looking for? Hopefully the ripping of the clothes will come into play at some point."

ITV2 viewers were left gutted for Liberty, with one writing: "Hugo needs to tell Liberty that Jake is having doubts so then she picks Hugo at the decoupling, then we keep Hugo and DUMP JAKE."
