Jinger Duggar, husband Jeremy Vuolo & their daughters spotted for first time after Counting On canceled & Josh arrested
JINGER Duggar and husband Jeremy Vuolo have been spotted with their daughters for the first time since it was announced that TLC’s Counting On is canceled.
The decision to end the reality show comes after brother was arrested and awaits trial in his child pornography case.
Following the announcement, , 27, and , 33, said in a statement that they “wholeheartedly agree” with the TLC’s decision to end the Duggars 13-year-run on the network.
The couple have been vocal with their thoughts on the situation, writing on Instagram: “We wholeheartedly agree with TLC’s decision not to renew ’ and are excited for the next chapter in our lives.
“We’d like to thank our fans, friends and the amazing film crew who have shown us love and support.
“We are grateful for TLC giving us the opportunity to be on their network over the years and their kindness towards the Vuolo family.
“It’s been a remarkable journey that has opened doors to traveling and experiencing the world in a way that we wouldn’t have imagined possible.”
Just a day after TLC’s shock announcement, Jinger and Jeremy were spotted for the first time while at the airport with their daughters Felicity, 2, and Evangeline, 7 months.
The pair are going to Oklahoma City on a short vaction.
The couple looked relaxed as they made their way through security, with Jeremy holding Felicity in his arms and Jinger pushing the baby in a pram.
Jinger appeared to be fully flouting her family's strict dress code as she wore light blue jeans, a tight white T-shirt, a cap and sneakers.
Jeremy meanwhile looked smart in beige pants, a white T-shirt and blue cap, matching his wife.
The couple currently live in Los Angeles and have been distancing themselves from the rest of the family following her brother Josh's arrest.
Immediately following TLC's news on Tuesday that Counting On was canceled, Jeremy posted a cryptic tweet about it being a "great day."
The former soccer star quickly deleted the comment, but not before fans captured a screenshot of it.
The show about , his wife and their many children is a spin-off of 19 Kids & Counting, which was axed in 2015 after .
The shocking news comes after fans - as horrifying details of Josh's emerged.
An insider told The Sun exclusively: "The decision was made by TLC earlier this week to cancel the show.
"The family was told over the phone shortly after and it's still very hush hush. The petition from those who boycotted Counting On was hard to ignore, and sponsors were very concerned following Josh's arrest.
"There have been a lot of discussions in recent weeks as the network had already spent money on production after months of filming."
"But the bottom line is, the network really wants to be on the right side of this scandal ahead of . It was important for bosses to be seen to have taken action.
"The case has put the show in such a bad light, and although it's a shame for those who worked hard on it, and the money spent, there really is no way forward."
Counting On's last season ended in September 2020, and fans have been left wondering if there will be a new season this year.
A rep then provided a brief statement to other media outlets, saying: "TLC will not be producing additional seasons of Counting On.
"TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately."
After news of the show's cancellation emerged, Josh's cousin
- who featured regularly on 19 Kids & Counting and made several appearances on - is under an NDA and asked her fans if that agreement is still valid.
Tagging her cousin Jill and Jill's lawyer husband Derick Dillard, she said: "Question for anyone out there who is a lawyer, aka Derick.
"Once a show is canceled does that mean if anyone has signed an NDA - is that canceled since there's no show to protect?"
The 34-year-old went on: "Hmm. Just a question. I have a feeling that things are going to get very interesting."
