FANS of The Office have been left devastated by the news actor Ewen MacIntosh, who starred as the hilarious Keith Bishop, has died aged 50.
Tributes have flooded in for the actor, with his co-star Ricky Gervais branding him "an absolute original".
Comedian Ewen played the oddball accountant in the UK version of the sitcom, famed for his distinctive goatee and love of Scotch eggs.
He appeared in The Office, written and directed by Gervais and Stephen Merchant and set in a Slough paper company, from its first series until it ended two years later.
Afterwards Ewen struggled to land big roles and was even snubbed when he applied for a part in an advert that had specifically requested a 'Keith from The Office’ character in its casting notice.
He secured small roles in EastEnders, Miranda, Little Britain, Casualty and The Lobster movie, and appeared on Pointless and Celebrity Come Dine With Me.
