LOVE Island's Amy Hart has revealed the show's producers warned her when she entered the villa no one might step forward for her and the public could turn on her.

Jack Fincham, who went on to win the show with Dani Dyer, was terrified no-one would pick him to date either.

Love Island's biggest stars have revealed the show's secrets ahead of the launch of the new series on Monday.

Both Amy and Jack thought no-one would pick them in the crucial early stages.

The first episodes of each series have the contestants standing in a line, before being introduced to a member of the opposite sex.

If they fancy them, they step forward.

If not, then they are left out in the cold.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Amy, said: "They tell you before you go in, in the talk of doom, people might not fancy you.

"The public might not like you, people in the villa might not fancy you, that was my worry."

Jack added: "If no one steps forward for you, you're left standing there thinking you're going home, it's horrible."

Amy recalled how nervous she was before the show - especially as she had a huge pizza the night before.

Speaking about how the new contestants will be feeling, she said: "I think they will be feeling nervous and excited.

"When they said to me, 'The cast will be here in 15 minutes,' I had this ball of adrenaline that came out as a last cry, scream, shout."

Love Island returns to ITV2 on Monday at 9pm.
