Love Island’s Chloe Crowhurst rushed to hospital after ‘serious car accident’ and is ‘in a lot of pain and distress’
LOVE Island star Chloe Crowhurst has been rushed to hospital after being involved in a "serious" car accident.
The 24-year-old revealed she was in a “lot of pain and distress” as she broke the news to followers today.
Sharing a picture of herself in a hospital gown, she said: “Hi guys, I’ve just been collected from hospital due to being in a serious car accident.
“I won’t be responding to anyone until I can. I am in a lot of pain and distress.”
Chloe appeared in Love Island in 2017 and had previously dated Towie's Jon Clark.
Despite his outrage about her doing the show, he ended up dumping Lauren Pope to get back with Chloe after she left the villa.
During her time on the show Chloe coupled-up with Sam Gowland but the pair were booted off relatively early.
Chloe recently revealed she only decided to the do the show after finding out Jon had cheated on her.
She said producers came to her work place to get her on board and she only agreed to appear with three hours before her flight.
She told Scott McGlynn on Celebrity Skin Talk: “On Wednesday I found out he'd been messaging other girls and then on Friday I got called up saying 'come onto Love Island'. And I said no, because of all this stuff going on with Jon [Clark], who has also been on Love Island.
“I had people, producers, turning up at my old work in Canary Wharf begging me to come on the show and I was like, 'no, I’m not doing it'.”
She continued: “I was in such a bad headspace at the time I just didn’t want to find love. I was already in love, I loved my ex-boyfriend.
“They were turning up at my work and felt really pressured and one day they were like, 'I’ve booked you a flight' and I told them 'see you later I ain’t doing it, I’ve told you numerous times I’m not doing it'.
“Then two days later I started getting loads of messages from people and I thought what better revenge than to go onto Love Island.”
