Bachelorette Katie Thurston’s ‘lying’ villain Karl Smith ‘to return to franchise for Bachelor in Paradise’s next season’

KATIE Thurston's season "villain" Karl Smith has been chosen to "return to the franchise for Bachelor in Paradise" next season, despite fan disapproval.

"I don't want to see him again!" a third ranted, while a fourth speculated: "I'm sure they put him on Paradise just so he can stir up more drama. Because I'm going to guess he's not there as a fan favorite."

Another fan compared the eliminated star to the "male version of Victoria", last season of The Bachelor's "villain", and a final complained: "Good riddance indeed. But no we do not need him in Paradise. He's going to ruin everything in 5 minutes."

On Monday's episode of The Bachelorette, season lead , 30, after the other men claimed he was a "liar."

Last week, the Miami native made the accusation that some of the contestants weren't on the  to find love.

During last night's Rose Ceremony, contestant Mike told Katie that Karl's claims were incorrect.

"This isn't something that we want to do right now given what you've already gone through, but we feel as a unit that it's our job to protect your heart," he began.

"We've come together in solidarity to say that we think that unfortunately what Karl said wasn't true.

"As a unit we really feel that's what you need to hear," Mike confessed.

Katie then turned in shock to the rest of the group as she asked: "Do you all feel the same way?"

After some consideration, the brunette decided to send Karl home alongside and .

This was not Karl's first or last run with the Bachelor franchise, as he was originally cast in Clare Crawley's season.

However, due to  complications, Karl was cut before the show aired in addition to  who has also returned for Katie's season.
