Who plays Prince Harry in The Crown?

For season five, child actor Teddy Hawley will portray young Prince Harry.

Currently, the actor who will portray Prince Harry in the sixth and final season is yet to be announced.

However, in 2021, the Duke of Sussex said that  should play him on the show, during a chat with James Corden on The Late Late Show.

Corden agreed and told Harry that the actor was a "great shout".

“I think Damian Lewis as you and me as William, that’s casting,” Corden said, with Harry sarcastically replying: “It’s not great casting, but it is casting.”

Who else has played Prince Harry in The Crown?

Prince Harry was featured briefly in season 4 of The Crown.

His introduction came after Lady Di married Prince Charles and went on to have William and Harry.

He was played by young actor Arran Tinker, and this was his debut into the acting world.

Arran can be seen in episodes 9 and 10 with Emma Corrin, who played Princess Diana.

How will Prince Harry feature in series 5 of The Crown?

Prince Charles and Princess Diana's marriage falls apart

Season five of The crown is centred around Charles and Diana's marriage.

Charles gets engaged to Diana but is still having an affair with Camilla, who later encourages him to go ahead with the marriage.

The marriage is rocky from the outset, with Charles jealous of Diana's new-found fame.

Prince Harry will likely feature in scenes with his parents.

Princess Diana's death

Season five will include Diana's death and most likely show Prince Harry mourning her death with his brother Prince William.

Princess Diana died in the early hours of August 31, 1997 - at the entrance of the Pont de l'Ama tunnel, close to Malar fire station in Paris.

She died from injuries sustained in the car accident.
