LOKI fans think they have spotted a Marvel favourite in a blink-and-you-miss-it moment.
The first episode of the new Marvel series dropped on on Wednesday, much to fans' delight.
Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as the God of Mischief from the Marvel films, but eagle-eyed fans think they have spotted another MCU favourite in the first episode as well.
After Loki managed to escape from the Time Variance Authority room he was being held in, he found himself in a corridor looking for a means to get out of the building.
As he turned, a portal opened up and a woman dressed in vintage clothing was led off camera by a guard.
While the woman was only on screen for a split second, it was enough to leave some viewers convinced she was none other than Peggy Carter.
Taking to Twitter, one fan zoomed in and slowed down the footage and wrote: "#loki spoilers PEGGY ? PEGGY CARTER ?"
Another tweeted: "Peggy’s reporting in to the TVA in accordance with her and Steve’s Time Parole. Part of the deal she and America’s A** made to keep from being pruned."
A third added: "Soooo are we gonna talk about this? Loki #Peggy #Variant."
Meanwhile another wrote: "Do you guys think that may as well be Peggy Carter? If so, what has she done?"

Peggy is played by actress Hayley Atwell in the Marvel films.
She also starred in her own spin-off series, Agent Carter, for two seasons from 2015 and 2016.
Loki is available on Disney+ with new episodes dropping every Wednesday.
