Emmerdale shock as Robert Sugden could be FREED from prison after Luke Posner admits killing brother Lee
EMMERDALE fans are in shock after Luke Posner admitted to causing his brother Lee’s death - leaving Robert Sugden free to be released from prison.
The chef - who is played by actor Max Parker in the ITV soap - opened up about why he had hidden falling in love with a man to his mum Wendy tonight but made a shocking confession.

Finally revealing the truth he told his mum Wendy about how he came out to his brother Lee - and received a brutal beating for it.
And while defending himself, Lee was knocked to the ground where he banged his head - on the day Robert attacked him with a shovel.
Viewers know Robert confessed to murder after Lee died believing it was his hit that caused the injuries that killed him.
But tonight Luke made it clear that he could have been the one to kill Lee.

He told his mum: “I tried living my real life mum, I really tried and I almost ended up dead.
“I got battered by this bigoted piece of scum who hated me so much for who I was that he wanted us dead - my brother, your son, your precious Lee.
“Lee turned up, so I thought I’d tell him - I thought he’d be happy that I was happy mum because I was.
“So I did and he just stood there and didn’t say anything. Then he grabbed me by the throat, slammed me against the wall and smacked me in the stomach.

“Told me that my dad would be ashamed of me that I deserved to have a beating. Punched me again and told me I’d be better off dead.
“He had his hands around my throat. So I shoved him and he fell. He smacked his head on the step and he just lay there unconscious.
“I thought he was dead. Then he opened his eyes and tried to punch me again, spitting more hate so I lied and told him I’d called the police.
“He said it wasn’t over and that he’d be back with his mates to finish the job and he left. The next time I saw him was that afternoon in hospital on life support.”

The realisation of what Luke revealed hit Wendy hard as the extent of it dawned on her.
She said: “If Lee had hurt his head as badly as you say he did, before he met Robert that afternoon - before Robert hit him…”
Luke lashed out and didn’t understand what he’d confessed to - but fans did and they are predicting Robert Sugden’s return after he’s freed from prison.
One wrote: "It was Luke!!! Robert is innocent!!!"
