Cruella on Disney Plus: Release date, cast, plot and trailer

CRUELLA is finally available on Disney+ after the Covid-19 pandemic delayed the original release of December 23, 2020.

Emma Stone, 32, leads the cast in the live-action movie focused on the classic Disney character.

Cruella is now available to stream on Disney+.

Previously, Cruella is only available to those who have premium access on the streaming platform but it's now available for everyone with a Disney+ subscription to watch.

The crime comedy-drama film premiered in Los Angeles on May 18, 2021.

The event was the first major red carpet event since the Covid-19 pandemic began to take hold in the US.

What is the Cruella plot?

Cruella is a live-action feature film following the evil exploits of Cruella de Vil, the villain from the iconic Disney film, 101 Dalmatians.

She is an ambitious drifter and aspiring fashion designer, who will go on to become a notorious and dangerous criminal obsessed with Dalmatian furs.

Estella is the orphaned girl who morphs into Cruella thanks to some of life's hard knocks.

She wound up penniless and orphaned in London at twelve, four years later Estella runs wild through the city streets with her best friends and partners-in-(petty)-crime, Horace and Jasper, two amateur thieves.

When an up-and-coming rockstar commissions Estella to design him a signature piece, she begins to feel as though she has truly arrived. But what is the cost of keeping up with the fast crowd– and is it a price Estella is willing to pay?

Estella also has a tough obstacle to overcome in the form of Baroness von Hellman: The head of a prestigious London fashion house and a renowned designer.

She is also Estella's boss, biological mother, and eventual rival who eventually plays a pivotal role in Estella's transformation.
