Peter Andre lands SECOND movie role after revealing plans to move to Hollywood for film career
PETER Andre has landed his second movie role after revealing his plans to move to Hollywood for his film career.
The 48-year-old star has previously transformed into a heavily tattooed heroin addict for an upcoming movie - and he's not showing any signs of slowing down.
Taking to his Instagram page this evening, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker chatted to British director Fredi Nwaka as they teased fans about the new project.
Showing a hint of the script up on their laptop, the movie currently has the working title of JA-FAICAN, and features a "suspicious" character called Billy Buckle.
In the short social media video, Peter can be heard saying behind the camera: "Ooh, very exciting - brand new film script!"
Fredi enthusiastically responds: "Trust me, it's about to go down."
Peter continues: "Brand new film script we're going to start later this year, I'm so excited."
He added in the post's caption: "BRAND NEW FILM SCRIPT. Start filming September so buzzed @therealfredinwaka".
Back in December, the father-of-four admitted he had a "new hunger" for acting as he shared his dreams of cracking Hollywood.
He said at the time: "Film is still my main focus. The movie I shot with Junior - On The Other Foot - will be out next year and I’ve got a meeting this week about another one."
On The Other Foot is currently in post-production and expected to be released later in 2021.
Pete was joined on set by his 15-year-old son Junior, who will also be making his acting debut in the movie.
Before that, the singer starred as a drug user in independent short The Inheritance - which saw him covered head-to-toe in tattoos.
