Teen Mom Jenelle Evans insists husband David Eason is NOT homophobic but would ‘rather not’ hang out with gay people
TEEN Mom alum Jenelle Evans has insisted her husband David Eason is not racist or homophobic, but would "rather not" hang out with people who identify as gay.
David, a father of three, was in 2018 after he posted tweets many fans found offensive and hateful toward the LGBTQ community.
The mother of three said: "David has nothing against gay people, or trans people. He'd just rather not hang out with them."
However, Jenelle added that he's always "nice and respectful" when he has been around the LGBTQ community in social situations.
She also said the comments that got him thrown off were "blown out of proportion."

Jenelle said: "I know the Confederate flag issue to him is it's his heritage. It was the north and south going to war and that's their flag.
She said: "I think things are going super well between me and him, he is really supportive when it comes to this custody case, and I've been really upset about it all.
"He knows when to help me with the kids, like if I'm really upset and I need to walk away for five minutes and he is like, 'Don't worry, I got the kids.'
She credited the separation with saving their marriage.
Jenelle said: "We've been getting along pretty good. I think it's because I took that break and went to Tennessee and after I came back, we set boundaries for each other.
"We don't cross those boundaries with each other, so things don't escalate anymore."

David shot to fame in 2015 after he started dating Jenelle. They tied the knot two years later and share daughter Ensley, 4, together.
