Friends fans concerned as Matthew Perry appears to slur his words in reunion promo clip
MATTHEW Perry appeared unwell in a new Friends reunion promo clip, as the actor seemed to slur his words and nod off during the interview questions.
The actor was recently exposed for being "creepy" towards young girls on the dating app Raya, and now fans are worried.
, 51, sat down with the beloved cast of Friends for a "three question" interview with on Wednesday.
The group seemed in high spirits as they reminisced on their years as friends and co-stars, and recalled funny stories from their time on set.
Fans noticed, however, that the Canadian actor was not responding to questions with his normal sharp wit, as she seemed to slur his words and even nod off at one point during the clip.
Several took to the comments section to express their concern over Matthew, who has struggled with addiction since his time on the award-winning show.
"Seeing Matthew sad is heartbreaking," one wrote, adding: "I hope he gets better soon, I don't know how I'm going to enjoy the reunion when Matthew is this sad."
"This felt so good seeing but also broke my heart seeing Matthew Perry like this," another admitted.
A third reasoned: "I know we are all sad about Matthew but let's remember he has suffered a lot of health related issues and he has struggled with addiction.
"Let's all be kind and polite and remember all the funny moments he gave us through his role as Chandler, thank you."

Matthew has struggled with addiction since his early 20's, after joining the cast of Friends as Chandler Bing in 1994.
The Massachusetts native once even admitted to "not remembering three years" of filming due to his reliance on drugs and alcohol.
The TV star had his first stint in rehab in 1997, though he has returned to facilities several times over the past two decades.
Matthew's alcohol addiction has caused him many health issues throughout the years, including pancreatitis and gastrointestinal perforation.
