When is Eurovision 2021 on TV?

The long-awaited 65th Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final along with the Big Five - France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK - along with the host nation, Netherlands.

You can watch all the action as it unfolds TONIGHT (Saturday, May 22, 2021), with Graham Norton providing the commentary.

It will be broadcast live on BBC One from 8pm.

Eurovision 2021 will be broadcast on BBC Radio 2.

The station usually provides coverage of the annual event.

This year is no different - Ken Bruce will be covering the 65th edition live from the Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands.

Where is Eurovision being hosted?

Eurovision 2021 will take place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

The country won the 2019 contest, so as per Eurovision tradition, the winning nation hosts the competition the following year.

The 2020 competition was due to take place at the Rotterdam Ahoy stadium but was cancelled because of Covid-19.

How can I get tickets to the Eurovision Song Contest?

Fans who had bought tickets for Eurovision 2020 received a refund of their tickets, and a confirmation code to buy tickets for Eurovision 2021 instead.

This "closed" sale took place on Saturday, May 8, 2021, but not all shows were sold out at the time.

People who are interested to get tickets for Eurovision 2021 could register, but registration to purchase is now closed and those who unfortunately missed it will now have to watch on TV or online.

Who is representing the UK at Eurovision?

James Newman is a multi-award winning, multi-platinum selling English singer-songwriter who represent the UK at Eurovision 2021.

He will be performing Embers.

He is best known for writing No1 hits including Waiting All Night by Rudimental ft. Ella Eyre and Blame by Calvin Harris ft. John Newman.

Commenting on his upcoming performance, James had said: "I’m so excited and honoured to be getting a second chance at representing my country in the Eurovision Song Contest.

"I haven’t stopped making new music in lockdown and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the song I’m taking to Eurovision in 2021."
