Who is hosting SNL this week?

SEASON 47 of Saturday Night Live has featured a plethora of familiar faces and laughs on the schedule.

Several high-profile actors, singers, and reality stars have taken over hosting duties.

Who is hosting this season?

Owen Wilson kicked off season 47 with musical guest Kacey Musgraves.

Following Wilson was then Kim Kardashian, Rami Malek, and Jason Sudeikis.

Alongside those hosts were musical guests Halsey, Young Thug, and Brandi Carlile.

During week five, Kieran Culkin hosted SNL alongside musical guest Ed Sheeran.

For week six, Jonathan Majors was the host and musical guest Taylor Swift took the stage to sing her 10-minute version of All Too Well.

For episode seven, Shang-Chi star Simu Liu hosted while rapper Saweetie was the musical guest.

Following that episode, a Thanksgiving special aired.

Who is hosting SNL in December?

On December 11, 2021, popstar Billie Eilish both hosted and performed as the musical guest.

Although Eilish has performed on Saturday Night Live in the past, it was the 19-year-old's first time taking the stage as a host.

In September of 2019, Eilish sang both Bad Guy and I Love You on the hit comedy sketch show, with her brother and collaborator Finneas joining her for an acoustic performance.

On December 18, 2021, Paul Rudd hosted alongside musical guest Charli XCX.

Charli XCX previously performed on SNL in December of 2014, wowing the crowd with her songs Boom Clap and Break the Rules.

After a season filled with debut hosts, Paul Rudd is broke the pattern and joined the ever-coveted Five-Timers Club, having hosted on the show in 2008, 2010, 2013, and 2019.

Paul Rudd's episode was last of the year, however due to a recent spike in coronavirus cases in New York City, the episode had to limit its cast.

The final episode of SNL on December 18, 2021, did not record in front of a live studio audience.

Where can I watch SNL?

Season 47 of SNL premiered on October 2 and fans can watch it live on Saturday nights starting at 11.30pm EST on NBC.

It is available for streaming on Hulu and Peacock.
