Teen Mom Leah Messer shades her ex-boyfriend saying introducing him to her daughters was the ‘biggest mistake’

TEEN Mom star Leah Messer admitted she regrets introducting her ex-boyfriend to her three kids.

The 29-year-old called letting him meet Aliannah and Aleeah, 11, and Adalynn, 8, the “biggest mistake.”

, who shares her twins with ex Corey Simms and her youngest with ex Jeremy Calvert, revealed to that she dated her most recent boyfriend for four months before allowing him near her kids.

After she did eventually let them all meet, the said it ended up being “the biggest mistake, honestly.” 

She added: “In my opinion, I just don’t want to confuse them with that.”

Leah wholeheartedly believes she “deserve[s] to date and find that person,” but she realized she needs to be extra careful on that journey because of her status as a single mom.

She wants to make sure she’s putting her kids and their feelings above all else, which is why she’s decided to keep her dating life separate from her parenting life for the time being.

“Exposing them to my kids’ life is something that I really don’t know that I’m even open to at all,” the author said. “That’s kind of where I’m at. … I don’t like to think about it too much.”

The TV personality admitted that she’s “content with being on my own and not dealing with any kind of relationship stuff,” so she’s not putting too much pressure on finding a new partner.

She shared: “At the end of the day, whatever’s meant to happen, will happen. If you ask me on a date, cool. I might go, I might not. I might stand you up.”

Despite still being on the search for romantic love, Leah’s been keeping busy with love from her family and friends, many of whom helped her last week.

Her sister Victoria threw blue-themed surprise party for the reality star, with everyone dressing up in the color for the big night.

The  star shared a series of photos from her special night as the crew looked amazing in their party attire.

The mom of three thanked her sister for the “surprise” event, writing: “The best birthday- Thank you guys so much for surprising me.

“Thanks to everyone for being there. & Thank you soooo much for all of the gifts and everything BLUE! Ilysm🙏🏼💙🎉.”

Fans have tirelessly praised Leah recently for embracing sobriety and putting her three young daughters first, noting how she’s experienced a  after previously suffering from drug addiction.

The TV star recently uploaded a few selfies on an outing with her kids, and many were blown away by how fresh-faced and happy she looked.

Leah looked beautiful in a floral dress and full hair and makeup, as she told her followers: “Today could have lasted forever. Huge shout out to @mostmadepicnics_events for adding their charm to this stunning venue!

The  star began her battle with addiction in 2013, after she suffered a “botched” spinal tap during her C-section with .

The doctor prescribed Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, and Tylenol 3 for the severe pain she was experiencing, leading to her reliance on prescription medications.

Prior to the surgery she had suffered from severe depression and anxiety, so using the pills pushed her “over the edge.”
