Teen Mom Jenelle Evans reveals daughter Ensley, 4, battles with vitiligo just like dad David Eason
TEEN Mom alum Jenelle Evans revealed her 4-year-old daughter Ensley suffers from the skin condition vitiligo.
Jenelle’s husband and Ensley’s dad, David Eason, is battling the same condition, which causes the skin to lose color in patches.

The 29-year-old reality star took to TikTok to explain a bit more about David’s skin disorder, as well as his hunt for ways to help it.
As vitiligo can run in the family, fans asked in the comments if anyone else in their brood has it.
The mother of three revealed Ensley – her only child with David, as her two other kids are from previous relationships – is also battling the condition.
She didn’t go into detail about how it’s presented itself with youngest child, but did share more about David’s experience.

“He has vitiligo, and he hasn’t found anything to really help that much,” Jenelle said in the video.
The former star added that they heard getting tattoos helps put pigment back into the skin, which they believe will help “protect it against the sun,” and thus David has started getting them on his arms.
She added: “A lot of you always ask why does he wear gloves, why does he cover up so much, that’s why.
“If he doesn’t, his white spots get really, really burnt. Really quick.
“And the tattoos on David’s arms is the start of a process to get that pigment back into the skin.”

At the end of the video, she told fans she didn’t have time to explain vitiligo and that they should seek more information on what exactly it is.
“Vitiligo is a chronic (long-lasting) disorder that causes areas of skin to lose color,” according to the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases.
“When skin cells that make color are attacked and destroyed, the skin turns a milky-white color.”

In it, Jenelle and David re-created an old viral video about trying to decide what to do that day.
The original video featured one guy having a chat with himself about how to spend his day, using a comical voice for each side of the conversation.
Jenelle and David used the original sound and each lip-synched a side of the conversation, which first had the Teen Mom asking, “What should we f***in’ dah?”
Then mouthed in response, “I don’t f***in nah,” and the two went back and forth about how they never know what to do.
