EX EASTENDERS star Luisa Bradshaw-White has marked Lesbian Visibility Week with a gushing tribute to her wife after 21 years together.

The 46-year-old actress played Tina Carter in the BBC One soap, but bowed out last year after her character was murdered by evil Gray Atkins.

And thankfully her home life has always been much less rocky than her on-screen counterpart's, with the TV favourite married to Annette Yeo since 2015.

Together the couple adopted two daughters - with Luisa regularly speaking out as an advocate for adoption.

Taking to her social media page last night, Luisa focused her attention on her loving wife, sharing two sweet snaps that offered fans an insight into their relationship.

The first was a smiling selfie of Luisa and Annette posing in a waterfall, and the next showed the pair beaming as they wrapped their arms around each other wearing matching I [heart] My Wife vest tops.

The star previously said the very first time she saw a photo of the girls she "instantly recognised them and burst into tears", adding: "I knew they were mine."

She heaped praise on the adoption process, writing: "I won’t talk about the trauma they have experienced as that is their story. But for me the journey has been so incredibly beautiful. Challenging, but so immensely rewarding.

"There are so many kids out there that need a loving environment a place to call home, that is safe, and nurtures them. It won’t be easy but life never is!

“I couldn’t love my girls any more than I do. This is my forever family and I am so grateful every single day.”

The girls were bridesmaids at their mums' wedding in 2015, with Luisa and Annette first having a civil partnership in 2006.

Earlier this year, Luisa left EastEnders fans disappointed when she confirmed that Tina will not be returning from the dead in an epic plot twist.

Viewers were convinced that she hadn't actually been killed after the murder was not shown on-screen - and that Tina would be the one to expose Gray's true colours.
