Brits under 30 have been advised to get a different Covid jab, amid investigations into reports of very rare blood clots.
So far UK regulators, the MHRA have recorded 168 cases of these blood clots, after 21.2million people received the jab.
Of those who suffered clots, 32 people died, which equates to a tiny 0.00015 per cent chance of dying of a blood clot after having the jab.
Instead, younger people will be offered the Pfizer or Moderna jabs.
Yet the benefits of the vaccine continue to outweigh any risks for most people, the UK medicines watchdog has confirmed.
Speaking in a video posted to his Instagram page Corrie newbie Will, 45, held the camera close to his face as he said: "I had the Covid jab yesterday and I feel absolutely horrendous.
"I can barely lift my head off the pillow and my arms are like lead.
"I have aching bones, all my back is aching, it's like I've literally got the full blown flu.
"When I try to walk it's like I'm an 80-year-old man, I'm not joking, it's horrendous.
"Obviously not everyone is going to get it like this, but just to let you know there's a possibility.
"So if you're going to have the jab don't plan nothing for the day after just in case."
While the blood clots linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine are extremely rare, it is common to experience mild, flu-like symptoms after having the jab.
Fabulous GP and Sun columnist, Dr Zoe Williams said there have been reports of people feeling tired, having a slight headache as well as sore, aching muscles.
"While you might feel a bit rubbish, it's normal, lasts a couple of days and is actually a good sign the jab is working," she wrote in her weekly On Call column.
"It doesn't mean you are seriously infected, it means your immune system is kicking in and is primed to jump at the first sign of a Covid infection."
She added if you do notice a new and severe headache between four and 28 days after having the AstraZeneca vaccine, that fails to respond to painkillers you should speak to your GP.
A severe headache could, in very rare cases, be a symptom of the rare blood clots.
"If your headache is new, severe, isn't alleviated by painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen and gets worse when you lie down or bend forwards, you might need some blood tests," Dr Zoe said.
"The same is true if your headache is combined with blurred vision, nausea and vomiting, difficulty speaking, weakness, drowsiness or seizures.
"Other symptoms that should be checked are new and unexplained pinprick bruising or bleeding, shortness of breath, chest pain, and leg swelling or constant abdominal pain.
"If you have any concerns or are worried about a headache following your jab, speak to your GP."
It's unclear if his last comment was a reference to his new role as drugs lord Harvey, and if he's had to take time off filming the ITV show.
Alongside his clip, the Two Pints actor added the caption: "Day after #covidvacccine !! #astrazeneca."
Celeb pal Keith Lemon was quick to add: "Yep I felt like s**t afterwards."
Fellow actor Ralph Little wrote: "I was the same mate. Wiped out for 24 hours. Then it was gone, like nothing had happened."
One fan then wrote: "Aww bless ya but better than being on life support sweetheart."
Another posted: "Exactly how we felt hit us like a ton of bricks for 2 days …hope you recover quickly."
An Instagram user then added: "I was fortunate to be one of the lucky ones, just a slight achy arm for me. The good news is it shouldn’t last longer than 48hrs right?…you got this Will!!❤️"
The actor, who joined Corrie this year, recently revealed he was wearing dad Bill's ring as a tribute to him while filming scenes.
