Michelle  said: "Before lockdown started a year ago AJ was being assessed - as kids often are around aged six - for any learning disabilities.

"We were concerned he could have dyslexia - and we still are.

"The school have been amazing but obviously with him not being in school all the time any kind of diagnosis gets delayed.

"It’s been hard to teach him due to attention span and difficulties in this area. "

Michelle praised his school for doing all they could to support him, but has always been worried about him especially as he had meningitis when he was younger.

Speaking to Dancing on Ice semi-finalist Ben Hanlin's parenting podcast , she said: "AJ had meningitis as a little boy so since then I’ve been on the lookout for any problems.

I could be just worrying overly as it’s been hard for all kids the past year - but as a mum you trust your instinct and he really struggles still with reading - the words are jumbled up to him."

Meanwhile Michelle has had a rough time of late after she revealed her entire family had tested positive for coronavirus.

The Liberty X star, 41, was devastated after her kids Faith, nine, Aaron, seven, and husband Hugh all tested positive - a month after she had her first Pfizer jab.

Michelle urged people to go for their jabs after she contracted the virus, saying she could have been seriously ill if she hadn't.

Speaking to Dancing on Ice semi-finalist Ben Hanlin's parenting podcast , she revealed they had tested negative now.

She said: "We got our negative tests through yesterday for Covid after testing positive last week.

"It’s been so hard for the kids all year so I was so upset for them when it happened. But they coped so well and didn’t even feel ill.

"Hugh suffered more than me.  Thank goodness I had had the Pfizer jab a month before, as I’ve got some underlying conditions - some I’ve talked about and some I haven’t - and it could well have been pretty bad for me. "
