When is Thunder Force coming out on Netflix?
There isn't long to wait until Thunder Force becomes available to stream on Netflix.
The 107-minute film is released on Friday at 8am (April 9, 2021).
The comedy features Bridesmaids favourite Melissa McCarthy and Oscar winner Octavia Spencer.
It is directed by McCarthy's husband Ben Falcone, a comedy actor best known for his roles in What to Expect When You're Expecting and Enough Said.
What is Thunder Force about?
The film, set in Chicago, is about an ordinary woman named Lydia (McCarthy), who gains super-strength after being accidentally injected with a formula developed by her scientist friend Emily (Spencer).
Emily, who has given herself the power of invisibility, has developed a process which allows regular people to gain superpowers.
The two join forces, with hilarious results, to become the world's first superhero team - named Thunder Force - and stop evil criminals.
