Teen Mom Jenelle Evans insists she was NOT fired from podcast but ‘s****y’ people ‘held past things against’ her
JENELLE Evans has set the record straight after speculation that she was fired from her new podcast.
The alum was not present at the official launch party last night and blamed "cancel culture" for her lack of attendance.
, 29, took to her today to counter allegations made that she was released from the GirlS**t podcast formed with star Deavan Clegg.
The reality star began: "Good morning everybody I hope you're doing great. There's a lot of rumors I woke up to saying that Deavan got me fired from this thing when I'm her producer.
"And I actually hand-chose Deavan to join the cast, so with that being said I am NOT fired, and we don't know what's going to be happening with the podcast right now.
"But I do know as soon as I get home, I have all the equipment to set up mine. So we'll get that up and going because I know you guys want to hear from me."
In a second, , Jenelle gave more insight on the matter, as she referred to her husband killing their dog Nugget two years ago as the reason for abandoning the podcast.
"It's pretty s***ty of a person to try to hold something against someone that happened years ago like we talk about all the time.
"To ruin their opportunities in life. Like that's s***ty. It's really s***ty and you know I thought I chose a good group of girls, but sometimes things don't work out the way it's planned.
"But that's okay. There's always hiccups along the way."

The controversial star shared several Boomerangs of her and Deavan getting their hair and makeup done, captioned: "Just up to girl s**t."
A whole crew of bloggers and makeup artists played beer pong as they promoted the new venture, and Jenelle encouraged her fans to "come hang out with us."
The star invited her followers to meet the "entire cast" at a bar on Wednesday for the official launch party.
Deavan rose to fame for her appearance on season one of , when she met Jihoon Lee on a dating app and flew to South Korea to meet him shortly after.
During their first night together, the reality star became pregnant with their now now one-year-old son, Taeyang.
Last night after the podcast formally announced that the MTV star would not be at the launch event.
The TV personality blamed "cancel culture," as she retreated to dinner with her husband David instead.
"You know the cancel culture s**t, that's basically why. So I'm going to sip this drink - oh s**t I'm out - and you guys enjoy yourself at the party," she ranted.
"I hope you're having a great time, because none of you are talking to each other."
The young mom captioned her upload: "I’m just a producer... don’t ask me."

In a second video, Jenelle lipsynced during their dinner, which she captioned: " but 'Life’s a betch and here’s here dude'."
Despite not giving specific details on what occurred, the mom of three did say she would be creating a Youtube video to explain the controversy soon.
