ANT and Dec finally confirmed that Saturday Night Takeaway was behind hilariously bizarre behaviour on ITV Daytime this week.
Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women viewers had been left scratching their heads as the hosts of each acted oddly on Monday.
The likes of Susanna Reid, Holly Willoughby, Lorraine Kelly and Judi Love were left blurting out all manner of random words, which left many at home speculating the cheeky Geordie lads were somehow involved.
Given their history with pranks on the show it wasn't a bad shout, in fact it was bang on the money.
The lads settled the confusion tonight, saying: "Now a lot of people were speculating that it might have had something to do with Saturday Night Takeaway.
"We'd like to make it very clear that those people...were absolutely right and all will be revealed later in the show."
Viewers watched as Stephen Mulhern prompted the ITV presenters to say random phrases on pieces of card he held up behind the cameras.
Loose Women panellist Judi ran screaming in terror from a spider while her co-stars insisted a weird smell had invaded the studio.
The 40-year-old comedian also kept repeating the Spanish word "hola" in what many believed was some kind of challenge masterminded by Ant and Dec.
ITV's hosts were spotted yawning, reporting cramp in their legs and pointing out strange odours.
The real weirdness began on Lorraine's show, with the 60-year-old yelping that there was a mouse in the studio.
She also leapt out of her chair, complained of cramp and started yawning during an interview with YouTube star KSI.
It continued on This Morning, with Holly also suffering from cramp and asking chef James Martin odd questions.
And on Loose Women, things went up a gear yet again with Jane Moore catching cramp and Charlene White complaining of a foul smell.
