SCOTLAND was pinning its hopes on homegrown singer Craig Eddie to emerge the clear victor of The Voice 2021.

Who is The Voice 2021 winner Craig Eddie?
Craig Eddie is a full-time musician from Falkirk in Scotland.
The 23-year-old Scot was representing Team Anne-Marie, who is coaching on the show for the first time this year.
During the audition process, the singer bravely revealed his .
He admitted that music helped him forget his problems after parents Craig and Tracey talked of their pride.
Craig said: "Ever since a young age I can remember I loved music.
"I take a lot of inspiration from my dad because he sings as well.
"I remember when I was five-years -old and I used to go to my dads gigs and he used to pick me up and I’d sing into the mic and the first song was actually Sex Bomb.
"I was always uncomfortable talking about my problems to people and music has been a really good way to get out what I wanted to say."
Craig tweeted about his progression through the series: "Thank you Anne-Marie for taking me to public vote, you changed my life in the best way possible. Let's do this."
What songs has Craig Eddie sung on The Voice 2021?
The coaches were "blown away by Craig Eddie’s stunning performance of ‘Make It Rain’ by Foy Vance.
"The Scot’s raw tone was an instant 'yes' from Anne-Marie," says ITV.
Craig went up against James Robb for the battles, "and the boys broke our hearts with a delicious version of Sam Fischer’s This City.
His unique tone shone through stronger than ever, and Anne-Marie picked him as her winner after a pitch-perfect performance.
Craig's rendition of Billie Eilish's 'Lovely' in the semi-final won him a place in Saturday's showpiece finale, where he'll be hoping to land a record deal and a debut single release.
What will he get for winning The Voice 2021?
As years have gone by, the prize for winning The Voice UK has changed.
When the show first hit our screens on the BBC, there was a £100,000 cash prize for the victorious contestant.
Since the show has moved to ITV, there is no cash prize - replaced instead by a record deal with Polydor Records alongside the release of their debut single.

The final of The Voice 2021 was shown on ITV tonight, Saturday, March 20 at 8.30pm.
