Death in Paradise’s Ralf Little sparks fan panic with post about emotional finale amid exit rumours

DEATH in Paradise's Ralf Little has sparked fan panic with a post about the show's emotional finale amid exit rumours.

Series 10 of the hit BBC crime drama comes to an end tomorrow night, and the show's executive producer Tim Key admitted he was emotional about it.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "With less than a week to go, have signed off series finale of #deathinparadise – and it’s a lovely episode too.

"Feeling quite emotional about the whole thing. So grateful to our amazing production team and cast. Ti punch!”

Ralf - who plays lead detective Neville Parker in the show - echoed the sentiment by retweeting Tim's post and adding: "Cutting it fine.

"The culmination of months and months of endeavour and belief. Series finale of @deathinparadise this coming Thursday.”

Fans immediately replied saying how much they had loved the series, and hoped Ralf would remain in the drama amid reports he is only signed up for one more series.

One wrote: "I do hope you're coming back Ralf, you are so good in this role.. Funny, quirky and a breath of fresh air. XxX"

Another added: "I've watched the series from the start, some brilliant actors have played the lead detective and in my opinion you're right up there as my favourite Ralf."

While a third tweeted: "Been a great series, just wish it was longer though. Really enjoying your character in the show. Hope you’ll be back for the next one."

Their concerns come after it was revealed last month that Death in Paradise has been recommissioned for a further two series.

During an appearance on Graham Norton's new Virgin Radio show, Ralf, 40, said: "I'll be back next year, but I don't think I'm signed for the two years."

So while Ralf will be back for series 11, series 12 is still up in the air at the moment.

Death in Paradise continues tomorrow, Thursday February 18 at 9pm on BBC One.
