He began by restoring and repairing furniture for several local antique shops and building cabinetry for the kiosks on a boardwalk in South Jersey.
He has since opened up his own business called First National Antique Restorations, located in Barnegat, .
How does Jersey Jon know Mike Wolfe?
In the show, Jersey Jon was introduced to fans as a close friend of Mike Wolfe.
Jon told the that he knew Wolfe long before American Pickers was even a thing.
"He's a great friend. When he is working on the east coast, he sleeps on my couch," Jon said.
"And when I go out west for the Davenport meet, he and I would go picking up and down the River."
