GRAND Designs turned explosive as a couple raged ‘we don’t give a s**t!’ at stunned presenter Kevin McCloud.
Tonight's show - which originally aired last year - sees couple Leigh and Richard transform a derelict 17th Century flour mill in Cornwall into a three-bedroom home for £300,000.
Despite being complete novices, the husband and wife reveal they sold their home in Derbyshire to fund the risky and challenging project.
They paid £235,000 and estimated the project would cost £250,000 over a 12-month period. They also planned for a contingency of £50,000 if they went over budget.
However, host Kevin fears their budget is too tight, especially as they wanted to preserve the original interior wooden beams of the mill, which had been left abandoned for 60 years.
But Leigh and Richard take no notice of Kevin's warnings, with the host telling viewers: "I feel my argument for conservative repair may never find a happy home within these walls.
"Leigh and Richard, weary and worn down, just want to get it finished."
The couple said "you can't save everything" when it came to conservation of a property, and Richard admits: "'I think we've gone to a lot of trouble to save things we didn't need to."

Leigh says passionately: "It's a significant building we have saved and, to be honest, I don't think an outsider standing here is in a position to make a judgement and really l don't give a s*** what they think."
Kevin says in a voiceover pointedly: "Well, that's me told!"
Viewers took to Twitter to comment on the awkward exchange when the show first aired last year, with one writing: "Wow, talking s*** about Kevin while the cameras roll during the build you invited him onto. Basic b****".
Another added: "Hahaha...'I don't give a s*** about what he thinks!' And yet...you're on Grand Designs!"
"BIT MEAN"
However, others thought Kevin had been hard on the pair about conserving the property.
One wrote: "We thought Kevin was a bit mean to the couple who saved the mill in Cornwall."
Another tweeted: "I think the couple did an amazing job inside and out and I thought balance was perfect.
"If they’d tried to save all that wood inside it would have way exceeded their budget hence perfect balance achieved. Well done."
Grand Designs airs tonight on Channel 4 at 9pm with episodes available on All4.
