DANCING On Ice's Graham Bell was sent home in the second week of the ITV show.

Viewers were shocked to see Graham, 55, and his professional skating partner Karina in the skate off with co-star Rebekah Vardy tonight.

But the athlete was sent packing by judges Torvil and Dean, John Barrowman and Ashley Banjo – despite Rebekah's performance being branded "stale" earlier in the show.

Olympic skier Graham told viewers after his elimination: "I think I gave it everything. I felt that we had a lot more (to give)."

Rebekah, 38, also admitted she felt "sick" as she fought for her place in the competition, with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield revealing the stars who had made it through to Dance Week.

Celebs Lady Leshur, Joe Warren Plant, Faye Brookes, Colin Jackson, Sonny Jay and Jason Donovan were saved by the public's vote.

Three skaters missed tonight's performance after The Sun revealed the show was "in chaos" following a string of unfortunate mishaps.

Billie Faiers suffered a family bereavement, Denise Van Outen had to pull out because of her dislocated shoulder and was in contact with someone with Covid, so he is self isolating.

Despite fans calling Graham's elimination "a fix" footballer's wife Rebekah was defended by others who said she was given surprisingly low scores for a second week running.

She returned to the ice this week with a slick performance based on jukebox musical The Boy From Oz classic When I Get My Name In Lights.

Rebekah donned a blue, diamond-encrusted dress for the number, nailing the judge's challenge move and commanding the ice.

But the judging panel, consisting of professional skaters Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean, dancer Ashley Banjo and actor John Barrowman, were not impressed.

WAG Rebekah, who is married to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardie, was awarded a score of 25 out of 40 for her performance.

Both John, 53, and Ashley, 32, gave the star 6.0, with the actor dubbing her performance "stale".

Fans were outraged by the low scores and immediately took to Twitter to defend her, saying she should be "proud" of the routine.

"I think the judges are wrong," wrote one woman. "Some of the comments was ridiculous and unfair! Should be proud, Rebekah!"

"She really smashed that, the scores should have been much higher than that," agreed another.

"Definitely was worthy or a way higher score," a third chimed in. "Rebekah has improved so much and did great in the judges challenge."
