WINTERWATCH'S Chris Packham left BBC viewers seriously distracted with his outfit last night.
The BBC Two nature show returned for its first live show on Tuesday, with Chris hosting the programme from the New Forest.
The 59-year-old walked through woodland as he told viewers what was coming up on the new series.
Chris was wrapped up against the cold weather in a bright red waterproof jacket, which he wore over a red gilet and fleece.
He completed his ensemble with a black bucket-style hat to help keep the rain off his face as he presented the show live.
However, his choice of attire quickly caught the attention of viewers at home, who took to Twitter to comment.
One wrote: "Fair play to Chris Packham, ready to rave after the show. #Winterwatch"
Another tweeted: "Chris Packham, presenting at 8, raving at 9 #Winterwatch #rave #hat."
A third added: "Is that Chris Packham or Bill and Ben? #nicehat #Winterwatch."
A fellow viewer shared: "Chris Packham going for the Welsh lady look on #Winterwatch."

Meanwhile, Chris explained why co-host Michaela Strachan would be absent from the series, saying: "I’m down here, in the South of England, in the New Forest where I’m going to be joined by my stepdaughter Megan McCubbin a bit later in the programme.
"But there is one of the presenting team which won’t be able to join us anywhere in the UK for this season and that is Michaela.
"She lives in South Africa and the current restrictions mean it is impossible for her to travel to the UK.
"So we’re going to miss her greatly, but yesterday, I did have the chance to have a quick word with her."
Winterwatch continues tonight at 9pm on BBC Two.
