She reckons 42-year-old Myleene’s pop star and classical musician background will give her an advantage.

When asked who would be crowned champion, Holly, 39, said: “I am going for Myleene.

“I think she has got musicality because she is a musician.

“She is a performer anyway and I just think she is going to fall in love with it. That’s my little insider tip.”

Holly has hosted the hit ITV show with her This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield, 58, since it began in 2006.

And while they cannot wait to get started, she said her three children, Harry, 11, Belle, nine, and Chester, six, were most excited about the show.

She added: “Trying to find something to watch as a family, where we are all sitting around the telly watching something together, is not that easy.

“There is the Masked Singer, and thank God for that, but it is really tricky to find those shows.

“As a parent I am so grateful for this show coming back as it is proper family viewing that everyone can just sit down and enjoy and be together.

“It’s January, it’s been rubbish, it’s been horrible. We need a bit of escapism.”

This year’s line-up also includes bookies’ favourite and singer Jason Donovan, 52, ex-Corrie star Faye Brookes, 33, comic and actor Rufus Hound, 41, and Wag Rebekah Vardy, 38.

Skating veterans Jayne Torvill, 63, and Christopher Dean, 62, are returning to the judging panel, alongside Ashley Banjo, 32, and John Barrowman, 53.
