Bridgerton fans shocked as they spot TWO Emmerdale stars in Netflix hit – but did you see them?
BRIDGERTON viewers did a double take as they spotted two Emmerdale hunks in the Netflix cast.
Eagle-eyed fans of the saucy Recency-era show called out Joe Tate actor Ned Porteous and Aaron Dingle's love interest Ben, played by Simon Lennon, in the series line-up.

They took to Twitter to share their surprise the ITV soap favourites had popped up in the hit period drama, switching the Dales for life in Shonda Rhimes' romantic show.
One Bridgerton viewer gushed: "I've watched the full Series of Bridgerton and thoroughly enjoyed every second of it! I was a bit disappointed that Simon Lennon who plays Ben in @emmerdale @EmmerdalePress @SiLennon was only on for about 5 seconds but hoping there's a 2nd series to come."
Another mused: "I’m halfway through @netflix’s period drama Bridgerton and it’s a cheeky treat of a show, all crumpets and corsets! Great to see @LornMacdonald_ appear and looking forward to watching former Emmerdale man @NedPorteous in the second half of the series!"
One surprised viewer then exclaimed: "BEN FROM EMMERDALE IN BRIDGERTON SURELY NOT."
Another surmised: "My brain watching Bridgerton: isn’t that ben out of emmerdale? there’s gavin out of benidorm! there’s her out of benidorm! there’s her out of st trinians! omg it’s joe tate! it’s hugo out of the vicar of dibley!"
Ned, 26, takes on the role of Lord Wetherby in the show, based on the books by Julia Quinn.
Meanwhile Our Girl actor Simon, 26, plays Lord Ambrose.
The Netflix show, only available on the paid-for streaming service, follows Daphne Bridgerton, played by Phoebe Dynevor, who is the eldest daughter in a powerful and wealthy family and wants to meet a man and get married.

However, following the death of her father, Daphne must be chaperoned by her possessive older brother Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), who is also struggling to find love.
Daphne also becomes a target for Lady Whistledown’s scandal sheet.
Daphne then comes into contact with the insubordinate Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page) and they come together to develop a plan that will keep her safe.
Meanwhile it has been revealed Bridgerton could run for eight series - in line with the books - so viewers will have plenty more opportunities to spot familiar telly faces.
