JEOPARDY! fans slammed "terrible host" Ken Jennings as he took over in the first show since Alex Trebek's tragic cancer death.
Viewers took to Twitter to say they were less than pleased with the 46-year-old's hosting while he made his debut as interim host on Monday's episode of the game show.
One person wrote: "Wow, Ken Jennings is a terrible host."
Another fan added: "Ken Jennings is awful."
A third viewer chimed in: "Is it really as bad as it seems or am I just angry abt life rn?? Bc im giving a huuuugeeee NOOOOOOOOO to Ken Jennings."
A number of fans agreed that Ken was not the right person to follow in Alex's footsteps, as someone else said: "Ken Jennings is NOT the right replacement for Alex Trebek. He's terrible."
The criticisms continued as a following person wrote: "It's really weird seeing Ken Jennings host Jeopardy. Not sure I'll ever get used to not having Trebek around."
Another fan added: "I'm watching with my dad and I think I actually hate Ken jennings's voice."
Others criticized Ken for "reading the clues too fast.'
Ken's debut as host came just days after Alex's last episode aired on Friday.
Alex hosted Jeopardy! for 36 years before passing away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 80 on November 8.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jean, 56, and their children Emily and Matthew.
The host also shared adopted daughter Nicky with ex-wife, Elaine.
Fans will remember Ken as a former contestant who's won more than $4 million on the show.
It was announced in November on the Jeopardy! Twitter account that Ken would be a temporary guest host for the show when production resumed on November 30.
Over the years, Ken has become a fan favorite and is known for holding the longest winning streak on the game show with 74 wins.
Once Ken's reign as interim host comes to an end, journalist Katie Couric will serve as the show's host for a week.
