Spider-Man

The original Spider-Man movie for millennials is likely to be the most favoured of the lot, with Tobey Maguire as the title character.

Doc Ock is the new enemy Spider-Man must face in the follow-up movie.

Meanwhile things aren't going well with Mary Jane and Peter is struggling with his powers.

Spider-Man 3

This is the final film from the first Spider-Man movie series starring Tobey Maguire.

The critical response was less kind to this 2007 installment, but it's the next one to watch if you want to see them in order.

In this film Peter Parker's ego has inflated and there are multiple villains to face, but most notably Sandman.

The Amazing Spider-Man

Fast forward to 2012, and there's a new generation of Spider-Man - this time with Andrew Garfield as the superhero.

It focuses on a young Peter Parker and new villians.

Electro and Harry Osborn are the villains in this movie.

Emma Stone stars as Mary Jane Watson, meaning casting stayed similar between both the Spider-Man film series.

There wasn't a part three for Andrew like there was in the Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man age.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

This next film was the first collaboration between Sony and Marvel.

Tom Holland is Spider-Man here and the all-star cast includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Zendaya, Donald Glover.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

This animated action adventure will appeal to kids more.

It goes right back to the start where Peter is first bitten by a spider.

This is currently the newest Spider-Man film, having been released in 2019.
